Energy Medicine

Many natural health experts believe that your body is not only made up of tissue, blood vessels and organs. It is also composed of energy. From ancient Chinese medicine this energy is called chi. In Japan it is called ki. In India it is called prana. These are terms for the electromagnetic field of the human body. Balancing this electromagnetic energy, the chi (ki, prana) is associated with robust health. Chiropractors seek to remove physical blocks by adjusting distortions in the musculoskeletal system, in order to balance the flow of this energy. Practitioners of chi kung (also spelled qi gong) or tai chi balance the energy by using the mind, heart, and body to "move" the energy into and out of places where it is lacking or congested, and by "seeing" the imbalance becoming balanced.

The return to energy medicine is a return to the legacy of our ancestors in a completely natural and organic way.
